Anjali + Christophe

After dinner, we couldn't stop dancing.

I met Christophe in college during our junior year at the library. I thought he was incredibly cute and kind.

Marriage was a mutual decision. He proposed in December of 2014 with a beautiful ring in our apartment. Later that night, all of our friends and family surprised us with an engagement party.

Our wedding was in Philadelphia. The venue had a beautiful brick courtyard with a ballroom and an enormous bar. We had about 250 guests. We tried to include as many of our closest friends and family as possible in our wedding party. My girls wore blue-grey saris with gold borders and the guys wore black suits with a gold bow tie. My brothers walked me down the aisle to a traditional Indian flute song. During the ceremony, we said traditional Indian vows.

After dinner, we couldn't stop dancing.

For our honeymoon we went to Peru, traveled to Cusco, hiked Machu Pichu, and spent some time up north in a sleepy beach town called Mancora. We could have stayed there forever.
