Briana + Aaron

We danced so hard. At one point, we were concerned that the barn was going to come crashing down.

Aaron and I met 11 years ago at Indiana University of Pennsylvania at our favorite college bar. I was, of course, his favorite waitress. At the time, I was 23 and Aaron was only 20. (I know, scandalous.)

When I first saw him, I immediately noticed his big, beautiful brown eyes and long lashes. He was just so cute and super into me. He had this laid-back style, and was incredibly genuine. I knew right away that he was different than any guy that I had dated.

The proposal was so us. We were on a run in Central Park on a hot summer night. About halfway through our usual route, he stopped, got down on one knee, and pulled out the ring. It was totally unexpected, and absolutely perfect. Later that night, he took me to dinner at Atlantic Grill to celebrate. The following day, we made the trip back to Pittsburgh, PA to celebrate with family and friends all weekend long.

The wedding venue was The Byrdcliffe Barn, which is this incredible 115-year-old arts space on the top of a grassy hill in Woodstock We decided on large farm tables for the seating, simple wildflowers for the centerpieces, and hundreds of twinkle lights strung throughout the barn. We held the ceremony outside on the White Pines lawn that overlooked the Catskills. It was the most beautiful fall day!

We danced so hard. At one point, we were concerned that the barn was going to come crashing down. Our playlist was amazing and everyone danced their hearts out. It was so fun!  Our guests started celebrating early since it was such a beautiful day, so by 11PM it started wrapping up.
