Judy + Mike

It’s a miracle almost everyone made it to dim sum in Chinatown the next morning.

Mike and I met through mutual friends on Valentine’s day. We connected through tequila, ended up dancing the night away, and rest was history.

One night we were out dancing and somehow it just struck me how much I loved him, so I said it first right there in the middle of the dance floor.

We talked about marriage but I didnt know when Mike would propose.  I told him that I didn’t want an engagement ring, so instead he proposed with a beautiful diamond and gold necklace from his mother that was passed down from his grandmother.  While were vacationing in Japan, a staff member at our hotel offered to take a picture of us. Mike got down on one knee and popped the question.

We had our wedding at a slick venue called MyMoon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The venue was rustic, unique, and had a beautiful space and restaurant. My maid of honor could not attend because she was pregnant and ended up having her daughter on our wedding day! We made our vows personal and didn't share them with each other until the wedding. Mike told everyone that he would buy me a farm—one of my long-term life goals.

There was a lot of dancing. The wedding ended at 10pm, but we had a party bus bring everyone over to one of our favorite bars where we stayed out until 2am. It’s a miracle almost everyone made it to dim sum in Chinatown the next morning.
