Absolutely not. Our aesthetic definitely leans toward more low-key, but we also offer sleek and clingy dresses, structured gowns and more traditional bridal silhouettes. If you have your heart set on a Vera or Monique, we recommend paying us a visit once you choose your dress elsewhere. Our made-to-order, hand-sewn couture veils in silk tulle, vintage lace and fresh or silk flowers look really lovely with traditional gowns.
YES. You should book an appointment at Stone Fox Bride when you are ready to purchase your dress.
Please note that we no longer have walk in hours so we kindly ask that you do not come to our showroom without an appointment scheduled.
We recommend that you begin shopping at least nine months in advance of your wedding so you can see all your options.
You should purchase six to eight months in advance of your wedding.
For your initial appointment, you should only bring yourself, any close friends and family you want to include in your process, and an open mind.
Each dress is made after its ordered by you. Most of our fabrics are sourced in Italy or France — and our embellishments are done by hand in India — so once you decide on your gown, it takes a bit of time for our overseas mills and artisans to source, create and send us your fabrics. Our NYC sewing studios need extra time so they can work painstakingly to ensure that your dress is of the utmost quality.
Cortana dresses are made to order in Barcelona and require the same turnaround.
Our showroom dress samples range from size 6-16. All dresses are available to purchase in sizes 2-24.
We are also able to make dresses in custom sizes.
